and had a nice mess of Bass each day and some big Flounder too
The Tuna showed up this past weekend with Yellow Fin, Blue Fin and Big eye Tuna being
caught there was Gaffer Dolphin caught too

Well I have got way
behind in the Fishing report this year and I am going to try to catch it all up now and
keep it caught up.
APRIL
Flounder fishing started the first of April and got of to a great start for the first
couple days with temperatures in the 80 and little wind there was a lot of nice fish
caught but then it got very cold and windy and the bight turned off for a couple of weeks
with a couple of good days here and there but by the end of the month when the flounder
tournament got here there was a lot of Flounder being caught some nice ones but with the
limit being 18 ½ inches that kept the keeper numbers low but still reel good fishing
MAY
Flounder Fishing was really good all
through May a lot of days we caught 50 or more fish but getting a half dozen keepers was a
good day
Sea Bass fishing was reel good when you could get to the Wrecks it seemed that the wind
wanted to blow every time we were going bass fishing and had to cancel but we did get
several good trips in
JUNE
Flounder fishing is still good and shows no signs of slowing up
Sea Bass should still be at the Wrecks but the wind has caused me to cancel all my Wreck
Fishing trips for the past 2 weeks but hopefully we will get out there next weekend
Offshore Fishing
Most years were are Tuna fishing by the end of May but a steady Northwest and South west
wind kept the warm water way offshore but it wont be long we will be out there

Well the season is getting ready to start and I
have been working on the boat getting her ready go. The Flounder regulations have been set
for the 2007 season and they are 18 ½ inches and 5 fish per person with the season closed
from 1/1/07 till 4/1/07 and then closed again for one week in July. So hopefully there are
a lot of nice flounder out there this year. If we can get the weather to warm up some we
will be catching Sea Bass by the end of Arial
