posting fishing reports on here. Be it past reports or what we can be expected in the near
future.

9/11/06- Capt. Frank
Well
the hurricane gave Wachapreague a betting on Sept. 1st with winds to 70 MPH and
the tide was 6 feet above normal I was lucky with no damage but some curtains blown out
but some other people were not a lucky there were several boats and building damage from
the storm
But the rough weather seem to help the Tuna fishing on Sunday after the storm
we had the best Tuna bite in a month and it stayed right good through this weekend and the
Offshore fishing should only get better for the rest of the year.
Sea Bass have showed up at the wrecks
several boats fished for them this past weekend and caught a lot of fish with most being
small but there were some nice fish there too.
Flounder Fishing Inshore has slowed the
past couple weeks But the Flounder fishing at the Wrecks is still real good
So
if you would like to go fishing give me a call at 540-297-2307
8/21/06- Capt. Frank
Tuna fishing has been hit and miss with some days catching a few but no real big
catches but the Dolphin fishing has been right good, with the water temp up to 85* and if
you can find something floating most of the time there is Dolphin under it
Flounder Fishing Inshore has stayed steady the
past couple weeks But the Flounder fishing at the Wrecks is still real good and it wont be
long before the Sea bass move back in
So
if you would like to go fishing give me a call at 540-297-2307

Well
the grass moved out to the Canyons last week and made it tough on the boats in the Eastern
Shore Marlin Club Tournament. In the 3 day tournament there was only 4 Marlin caught 2
White and 2 Blue ones.
Tuna fishing was fair with most boats catching a couple but no real big catches but
the Dolphin fishing has been great at times, with the water temp at 85* and if you can
find something floating most of the time there is Dolphin under it
We had an overnight trip this past weekend that turned out great. We had 5 nice
Tuna with the biggest being 86 pounds and a
limit of Dolphin
Flounder Fishing Inshore has stayed steady the
past couple weeks But the Flounder fishing at the Wrecks is great we went last Monday part
of a day with the family and had 13 Big

Well
the past couple of weeks has not been that great Offshore fishing first bad weather then
the grass moved in and not in a weed line but everywhere you spend the entire day winding
in Ballyhoos removing grass off its nose. The Tuna bite has slowed but the Dolphin bite is
getting hotter.
Flounder Fishing Inshore has been good these
past couple weeks with boats catching 50 to 60 fish with 15 to 20 keepers
The Flounder fishing at the Wrecks has turned on and if you can find the right Wreck
holding them you will come in with a nice mess of Big Flounder

are a lot Bluefin tuna being caught at 21, 26 Mile Hill and Lumpy Bottom but most of them
are under 47 inches and all but one had to go back. There are few Dolphin being caught all
around, some days you get 2 or 3 then 10 on other days

people are not targeting them right now but are catching them while fishing for tuna.

past couple weeks with boats catching 15 to 20 keepers

good luck. We fished a ½ day on Saturday and came in early when it started to rain and

Well Spring has sprung
I went down this weekend and done my Spring maintenance on Nita Dream.
It was a cold rainy weekend but we got her ready for a summer of fishing. And while I was
working on the boat there were several people out Flounder fishing (Some Brave Soles) it
was nasty all weekend but they caught fish most people I talked to had a nice mess of
fish. So this year is looking good with the
Flounder being caught this early. So I hope to do some fishing next weekend.
If you would like to do
some Flounder or Sea Bass fishing this spring give me a call to set a date before the best
days are gone.
